More Information：Bunraku is a traditional Japanese puppet theatre where the narrator(tayu), the shamisen player, and the puppeteers come together to create a unified performance.It is one of Japan’s representative traditional performing arts and is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
At the NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station, located near Osaka Castle, you can experience an explanation of Bunraku (the roles of the Tayū narrator, shamisen player, and puppeteer) . You will also have the chance to see Bunraku play- “Oshichi’s Burning Love!”
