Prism Hall’s long-cherished wish has finally come true!
Miyagawa Akira and the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra perform together for the first time in about 15 years!
This time, we’ll be featuring composer Miyagawa Akira! He appeared at the Prism Hall Yao Concert in 2002, at the “Osaka Philharmonic Pops Concert – Autumn Music Promenade.”
In fact, this is the first time that Miyagawa Akira and the Osaka Philharmonic have performed together in about 15 years, and it was made possible thanks to the Prism Hall’s respective connections. Miyagawa-san has composed “Wind Orchestra Love Story, Yao,” a piece that symbolizes “Yao, the City of Wind Orchestras,” and the Osaka Philharmonic has a long-standing relationship through a “regional base contract” that includes the Yao Concert. Prism Hall was eager to have these two perform together, which is why this project was realized.
The legend of Miyagawa-san and the Osaka Philharmonic will finally restart in Yao!!
