More Information：The Winter 2026 Exhibition features Ai Tanaka, an artist who works with Japanese mineral pigments—crystals embodying tens of thousands of years of geological time—and evolves her painting technique through a system of unique rules. In this exhibition, we present her “continuous response” accumulated on the canvas through each brushstroke’s inquiry into the material, interpreting it not merely as a formal style, but as a deep conversation with both natural laws and social structures. We hope that through “the ways of the world and self” manifested in her work, this exhibition offers a profound opportunity to contemplate our own way of being.
