More infomation:The end of Mucha’s time in Paris also brought with it Quo Vadis, an oil painting wrapped in mystery that depicts a scene from a novel.

This exhibition follows Mucha’s creative process for this painting and seeks to reveal the full details of this masterpiece. We are also proud to present, for the first time, a tapestry woven using a traditional Sakai manual weaving technique (Sakai dantsu) that recreates a rug that was planned to be made in the US in 1910 based on this painting but never was. With this reproduction, the painting adds another chapter to its history.
