This work weaves a new myth that intersects modern identity, evolution, and social illusions through motifs like mermaids—symbols of mystery, seduction, the uncanny, and even apocalypse. The faceless sculpture “LEM” reflects anonymity and the fixed images produced by society, while suggesting that those frameworks are always in flux. Just as the mermaid has transformed over time, so too is our identity constantly being rewritten.
