Nankai Building
Steel-framed reinforced concrete building complex of the early Showa period. Located in Namba, Chuo ward. The terminal building of Nankai Namba Station, located at the southern end of Midosuji Street, has eight floors of steel reinforced concrete and two basement levels. The walls are composed of a series of arches supported by Corinthian columns with curved corners and decorative vases. Decorations are placed everywhere, including above the entrance and along the rooftop, giving the building an elegant and prestigious appearance.
