There are various types of villains. \u201cJitsu-aku\u201d literally means a truly evil character. \u201cKuge-aku\u201d refers to villains of noble birth, such as court nobles. \u201cIro-aku\u201d are villains whose chilling beauty exudes a seductive allure. A villain powerful enough to overthrow a nation is called a \u201ckunikuzushi.\u201d There are even \u201ccharigataki\u201d who are meant to elicit laughter.<\/p><p>\u00a0When you line up these villains, you\u2019ll notice the distinctive costumes that make it clear at a glance\u2014the moment they step onto the stage\u2014that they\u2019re \u201cbad guys.\u201d Let\u2019s also explore how they differ from characters who seem like bad guys at first glance but, as the story unfolds, turn out to be kind-hearted good people at heart. These villains aren\u2019t just supporting characters who oppose the hero; some even take center stage.
